At Blu Ripples, we offer Career Counselling and Consulting Services via the Partner Employment Assistance Program (PEAP), specifically designed to support partners of Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel.

Conveniently located in Medowie, Port Stephens—just a 10-minute drive from Newcastle Airport and RAAF Base Williamtown—our PEAP services support you to commence or re-establish your career, clarify goals, and navigate the job search process following your

partner’s relocation, in line with Defence PEAP guidelines. We understand the unique career disruptions that can come with Defence life and work alongside you to create meaningful, practical, and achievable pathways forward.

Blu Ripples PEAP Services support clients across Newcastle, Maitland, and the broader Hunter region. Services are available face-to-face in Medowie, as well as via online or telephone consultations Australia-wide, providing flexible and ongoing continuity of career support regardless of your location, whether for your current or next relocation.

Informed by the experiences of partners of Australian Defence personnel, Blu Ripples® delivers professional employment assistance services (PEAP) designed to support you in strategically planning and navigating your career. We offer a range of tailored career services and resources aligned with your individual goals and circumstances, and Defence’s PEAP guidelines.

Since 2018, Blu Ripples® has delivered specialist employment and career support to partners of Defence personnel navigating career transitions, workforce re-entry, or the commencement of new professional chapters. We have helped partners address specific career and employment challenges associated with regular relocations—both within Australia and overseas.

Starting with a tailored Service Level Agreement (SLA) designed around your unique requirements, we guide you through the Defence approval process and aim to provide a safe, supportive space to explore your career goals and process your thoughts, feelings, and emotions surrounding relocation and forced career upheaval. Through this person-centred approach, we work to assist partners of Defence personnel in moving from feeling isolated, overwhelmed, or ‘scattered’ toward feeling assured, clear, and strategically prepared to manage a portable career.

How Do I Access PEAP Services?
As an eligible partner of an Australian Defence Force (ADF) member, you may access up to $1,500 per posting in professional employment services through the Partner Employment Assistance Program (PEAP). These services are designed to support you in sourcing meaningful employment opportunities and are delivered in accordance with Defence guidelines.

If you are the partner of an Australian Defence Force (ADF) member and meet the eligibility criteria for the Partner Employment Assistance Program (PEAP), simply follow the steps below to access our career counselling and employment support services.

Upon receipt of your PEAP SLA, simply submit with your ADF online application for funding approval.
